Wholesome Wave Georgia’s Southern Chefs Potluck — a casual Sunday supper on Serenbe’s pastoral grounds — is coming up, and we’ve saved you a special seat at one of our host tables.
Some of the South’s favorite chefs are getting out of the kitchen and into the country for the 8th Annual Southern Chefs Potluck at Serenbe, a casual Sunday supper benefiting Wholesome Wave Georgia on Sunday, September 17th at 3 p.m. Three hundred guests will dine family style with the chefs and their families on the pastoral grounds of the Inn at Serenbe. In addition to food and fellowship, the event will feature local beer, wine and cocktails created and served by renowned mixologists and a live auction for one of-a-kind chef experiences with a guest auctioneer. Each chef will contribute a side dish along with homemade pickles, relishes and desserts to be shared. The chefs’ creations will complement main dishes provided by White Oaks Pastures and Jim N’ Nicks Bar-B-Q.
Who is Wholesome Wave Georgia?
It is increasingly common knowledge that fresh, locally-grown foods are the healthiest choices to nourish our bodies. The reality today is that these fresh, healthy foods are expensive and inaccessible to many. Wholesome Wave Georgia (WWG) encourages communities to rethink the cost, accessibility and affordability of fresh, wholesome foods in Georgia. By subsidizing the higher cost of healthy, locally-grown foods, WWG makes healthy, nourishing choices accessible for Georgia’s food insecure families. Through our programs, WWG is fostering a food culture in which families are empowered and encouraged to support their local farmers, invest in their own health and in the health of their communities.
Joining us as a host or sponsor not only offers a number of marketing opportunities for your company or cause. It’s also a great way to support the work of Wholesome Wave Georgia while enjoying the best potluck food you’ve ever eaten, cheek by jowl with the great Southern chefs who made it.
