Access Aglanta 2019

Access AgLanta is a team effort with the City of Atlanta’s One Atlanta Office, rideshare provider Lyft, Wholesome Wave Georgia, Georgia Farmers Market Association, Community Farmers Markets, local food markets, and community organizations to overcome fresh food access challenges and provide affordable access to fresh, healthy food options for low-income families in Atlanta. The six-month pilot will provide 300 families with eight subsidized rideshare fees per month, to or from participating food markets. Participants who shop at designated farmers markets will be able to take full advantage of Wholesome Wave Georgia's Georgia Fresh for Less program whereby SNAP recipients can double their benefits for fruits and vegetables.
