#Eat Good Do Good GA Selfie Campaign Begins!


ATLANTA RESTAURANTS USE SELFIES TO HELP GEORGIA’S FOOD INSECURE WITH “EAT GOOD DO GOOD GA” BENEFITING WHOLESOME WAVE GEORGIA

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 – WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12

Atlanta’s top chefs and restaurateurs are harnessing the power of the selfie with Eat Good Do Good GA, an Instagram campaign and fundraiser for Wholesome Wave Georgia that aims to make fresh fruits and vegetables more accessible to those facing food insecurity in the state.  

Led by the teams behind Saltyard (Chef/Partner Nick Leahy, partners Christian and Kristy Favalli) and 1KEPT (Owner Thaddeus Keefe), more than 12 local restaurants are teaming up to participate in the two-week-long fundraiser for Wholesome Wave Georgia that encourages diners to snap a selfie with a fresh fruit or vegetable at dinner and share to Instagram. For each qualifying photo, participating restaurants will donate $.50 to Wholesome Wave Georgia.

1KEPT, Bangkok Station, Cooks & Soliders, Double Zero, Farm Burger (Buckhead, Decatur, and Dunwoody), Gunshow, Iberian Pig, Miller Union, Saltyard, Sugo Kitchen, and Sweet Auburn BBQ.

HOW IT WORKS:

Participating restaurants will provide fresh produce for guests to use in photos or guests may snap photos of their dishes which contain fruit or veggies. For each qualifying Instagram image taken at a participating establishment, the restaurant will donate $.50 to Wholesome Wave Georgia.

Qualifying Instagram selfies must meet the following 3 requirements:

1. Take a selfie with a fresh fruit or vegetable (from display or plate) at a participating restaurant.

2. Tag the restaurant’s Instagram handle in your post.

3. Include the hashtag #EatGoodDoGoodGA in your post.
